Snow White LOVES the playdough we made this month!
We call it Sparkling Snow Playdough!
Here is the recipe we made:
1 cup of flour
1/2 cup of salt
1 Tablespoon of cooking oil
1 Tablespoon of cream of tartar
1 cup of water
Mix together & add blue sparkles, coconut and cranberry scented oil!
Cook on medium heat till it begins to form a ball. Remove from heat and kneed it a bit with hands but be careful as it is HOT!

You have so interesting posts. Thank you for sharing your ideas!
What a neat idea, love the sparkling snow!
That's funny we just did the same thing but without the sparkles and cranberry. It was supposed to be peppermint scented but my mom realised she only had coconut. Felt a bit like Malibu beach playdough instead of snow. : )
We haven't made playdough in a long time. I Love this idea! We're going to do this activity this week!
Oh, what a clever way to make play doh a little more fun for the holidays!!
Ahhh! That's it! The Christmas Eve activity for Nana's house!
My kids would love the sparkle in their playdough. I need to make more since moost of their dough is drying out! I featured this at somedaycrafts.blogspot.com. Grab my "featured" button.
Cranberry scented oil sounds so good. Haven't come across it here in Australia, will have to keep an eye out for it.
This is such a great idea! Never before thought of putting sparkles in playdough, but so much fun for Christmas (or anytime)!!
Where do you find cranberry and coconut oil? Is that one type of oil or two kinds and where can I get it? Thanks!
Hi Kelly, they are 2 different kinds of oils. Maybe somewhere like the body shop would be a good place to start.
Thanks for your help, Jody!
