Little Belle putting pennies into a piggy bank (under VERY CAREFUL supervision from Mommy). She worked on this for over 20 minutes and cried when I had to take it away because I had other things I needed to do.
Oh how sweet!
I wish I had a picture of her doing this work, but she is easily distracted and I did not want to chance getting up for the camera.
So are you Canadian? I noticed your picture is of Canadian pennies. If so then Yay! I am Canadian to.
Thanks for posting this. I think it will be a good activity for my little Meadow.
I do a similar work with the toddler I watch (he is 18 months old). He puts colored plastic discs (about an inch diameter) into a piggy bank) It is a piggy bank that is a rectangluar prism about 8 inches tall with a removable lid with the slot on the top. He will do it as long as I will let him. He likes to try and take the lid off too.
