Learning French the FUN way!

Amuse-Toi Bien is a wonderful way to help children learn French (or in our case, help us learn too). We received our set of 24 French games for FREE because we paid the $15 to be part of a French Resource program. You can see more about that program HERE. I love that these games come with a DVD that shows how to play the games and explains it all in English! It also came with all the game pieces!

This kit is designed for parents and children from the age of 3 to 5 who speak little to no French in their home. Amuse-toi bien! was created to encourage the child’s cognitive and French language skills as well as provide parents the opportunity to learn and practice vocabulary and expressions relevant to his or her child of preschool age. All the games provide practice for the pre-reading and pre-writings skills as well as develop vocabulary of the French language.

If you are trying to teach French to your children, and can not afford these games, there is a wonderful blog called TOT French where you can get many great ideas!

What a great resource. Thank you for the link to the TOT resources too. I know those will come in handy as my good friend's son begins to learn French. She's a teacher and appreciates any inexpensive and great resources she can get her hands on so I know she'll be happy to learn of these.

French is such a beautiful language! It was on my list to teach but my husbands naive language came first. So German it is.
