Snow does not mean you can’t have any fun. Here is a winter fun activity that will keep the kids busy for hours. The best part is that it is affordable and easy!!!
This week Snow White’s sprayed a snowman.
First we put food coloring into a spray bottle of water. You can choose any color you like. We bought our spray bottle at the local dollar store.
Then Snow White sprayed her Snowman. First she sprayed from up close.
Then she sprayed from a little further away. She used blue and green water to match her winter jacket.
She liked the different effects of spraying up close and further away.
I thought we should do this activity now since we are finally getting warmer weather. Mr. Snowman will not be around much longer.
The great thing about this activity is that is strengthens the hand muscles which helps children with cutting, writing and fine motor skills. They just love it because it is so much FUN!
Have you tried this before?
If you don’t have snow, what are some fun activities you do with your kids?

This looks like so much fun! I'll have to try this with my best friend's son this winter. I also love that it strengthens the hand muscles; learning that fun and exercise go hand-in-hand at a young age probably would have helped me be more naturally active as an adult. :)

How fun! We would love to try this sometime, but since we don't don't have snow, maybe we will have to spray snow cones:)

This sure was FUN! Valerie, it sure was nice to get it in before all the snow melts. Mr. Snowman is almost melted already. We have had rain all week...I'm not complaining. I am READY for Spring!Jody

We have done this for the last couple of Winters, and it's always such a big hit with the kiddos!! Glad to see you got some snow painting in now before the warmer weather hits. :-)
