DIY SPICE RACK CRAFT CADDY

I posted about this on my old blog, over a year ago and since it was such a big HIT I thought I would share it with all of you!

We got the spice rack as a wedding gift MANY years ago, and since the spices were getting old and the rack took up too much room on my kitchen counter I decided to make it into a DIY spice rack craft caddy for my daughter for a Christmas gift.

This spice rack craft caddy is still one of the most used, best liked things she has! She loves to do art and craft projects, and I love that it is so easy for her to see the craft supplies and clean up!

It was so cool to see other moms send me pictures of the craft caddy they made after they saw my post.

Who knew an old spice rack could be so handy?

How do you store your kids craft supplies? I love sharing ideas that work! Please leave your ideas in the comment section!

Using a spice rack to sort out all the little odds and ends that end up in our crafting boxes is such a great idea! You also no longer need to worry about those old spices you'll never use anyway!

What a GREAT idea!! I love it! Anyone find an inexpensive spice rack/jars? I found empty spice jars for $0.95 each, but the stands seem to be a little more expensive... wasn't sure if anyone found a cheap place to buy one!
