Fresh Produce sent me an adorable dress to review recently and I am in love! I hate clothing shopping, I hate trying things on and I always do not like how things look on me (I’m sure its a total I-had-a-baby-recently thing) but more than all that- If I could convince the world that yoga pants and/or pj pants were ‘real’ clothes to be worn everywhere I totally would. I am all about comfort.
Enter Fresh Produce to the rescue!
Fresh Produce is in it’s 3rd decade of business and is primarily Made in the USA! Their casual women’s clothing is nice looking AND comfy!
I was sent the safari dress in the natural color (below is a company picture of it in black) and I love that it is drop waisted and can be ‘scrunched’ up to be a top also.
So here is what it looks like on me the other day as a dress (it isn’t really sleeveless dress weather here right now but I have another option to show you!)
I love the quality of the fabric-it’s actually thicker than I thought it would be- yet light enough that I will be wearing this as is for the summer months!
Here is my other option- I layered it over a black long sleeve t-shirt and black yoga pants and scrunched the top a bit so it’s more of a tunic. This is a great fall or winter way to get more out of the dress. You could also add your own belt over the drawstring waist it has to add even more ‘structure’ or pizazz!
If you like the above look you can get all the fashion at Fresh Produce if you don’t have the t-shirt and yoga pants already. I would recommend the “Take it Easy Tunic” and the “Active Pant”.
I have loved working with Fresh Produce on this review-they have been nothing but accommodating and gracious! They are a company I will do business with in the future (especially now that I know what size I am in their clothing haha!) I love the attention to detail, as a sewer I always look at the construction of a garment, and the way that the women’s dress fit exactly as it was supposed to for the size that it was.

I prefer you in the first picture. It does look nice and pretty! Too bad they don't ship to my country. It's a change from the Made in China stuff. And it's such a sustainable company too! Love the name too!

Wow I just has a baby and this looks like it covers all the "areas" and I like the material. It's very flattering on you. It looks like it can be work by itself or with leggings or even jeans. I think I will check them out.
