Inspiration

I had mentioned after the new year that my husband and I had a little chat with our kid’s about New Year resolutions. Ever since that little chat, they have been inspired (a lot more than I have). I find them doing cute exercises and constantly asking me if something they are about to eat is healthy. It is adorable and while they are supposed to be looking up to me for being a good example I find myself looking up (well down) to them thinking how much better I need to do because of there constant cute reminders.

The other day I caught them, all three of them doing Yoga. I must say they all had perfect form. They were having so much fun together laughing and being the best of friends, which to say, does not happen all the time.

I constantly worry about being a good mother and raising my girls to be great adults that I often forget to realize that at the same time they are teaching me just as much as I am teaching them.

I think children are so sweet and they understand a lot more than we give them credit for. They love everyone and are always first to forgive. If I could learn anything from my children I hope it would be to slow down, enjoy the little things and cherish every sweet hilarious dramatic some times exhausting moment I get to have with them.

What lesson(s) have you learned from your kids?

They are so cute! I have learned to enjoy my children. Money is not nearly as important as the time I am spending with them right now!
