STORYLAND YOGA DVD FOR KIDS giveaway (CLOSED)

When I start an exercise routine, my children are always begging to do one with me.  However, with exercises geared towards adults they are either too difficult, or they move on too quickly for the kids to get one move down before they are supposed to move onto the next one.

So when I saw this yoga DVD for kids from Playful Planet I figured it would be something that would fit into our family well.


Storyland Yoga is a exercise DVD geared towards children ages 3-8.  Kids learn yoga, by imitating animals and going on a fun-filled adventure to help the planet.

There are 2 great stories (Save the Whale & Condor Trek) that engage a child’s imagination through storytelling.


Playful Planet was created by a mom to empower children with fun and engaging activities.

She has some great ideas how to use this DVD:
* Use the DVD as a regular yoga “class” with you as the teacher.

My children and I tried it out one afternoon and we did the Save The Whale story which is about a 20 minute workout.

After it was over I was sure that they would be tired of it and want to move on to something else.  When I turned it off I found quite the opposite.  My son started to cry saying he wanted to do more exercises – it was a definite hit with them!


My children have asked daily to do another story and workout with the DVD.
