Finally! A Toy Shopping Cart that will actually hold up to a mischievous 2 year old all the stuff that is inevitably going to be placed inside!

Durable, pivoting front wheels

This shopping cart took me a matter of 5 minutes to put together. Don’t let that fool you on the quality though, this is truly the best made kids shopping cart I have ever seen! Just take a look at those wheels! If your kids are anything like mine, they will try to climb in the cart. Melissa & Doug even has a safety feature for this. The bottom of the cart is spring loaded, so if when a child climbs on, the base of the cart goes down to the wheels and the 3 extra “legs” touch the floor which keeps it from rolling!

As a mom I know how important pretend play is in child development. Whenever possible I love to provide toys for my girls that allow them to pretend play while learning true life skills at the same time. I love that the Melissa & Doug Shopping Cart very closely represents the real life shopping carts.

I give this shopping cart a 5 star rating and would definitely consider it a must-have toy! The price is a little steep at $69.99 but it is worth it for the quality!

Giraffe and Blankey get daily rides in the Toy Shopping Cart! The fold down seat brings much joy to little Jane. Fold it up, put down, fold it up , put it down…you get the idea!

The shopping cart collects all kinds of items from around the house. Shopping is a lot of fun after all!

The only problem Kate & Jane have with this cart…..SHARING it!
