I wish! I can hardly be in there with the door closed, but I can relate to wanting that.:)

Oh yes. I love to play Scrabble (on Facebook) with a dear old friend, and the only place I get to do it is in the bathroom. I sneak away, pretend I’m going in there for a good reason, and I play my word.

The things we do for a moment’s peace, right? ;)

    Jenn,
Do you think you will try it sometime? You’ll have to hide a pillow in the linen closet for secret getaways!

  6. 6

totally relate, I hide in the bathroom when I just need some quiet or to be alone!

so that’s why it takes you so long to “do your hair”

I’ve done this. >< Actually, I've intentionally taken a shower before just so I could pass out in there for a mini-nap (whether actually in the shower or not). I make sure the kids are being watched so I don't have to try to listen to what's going on outside the door, and if I'm actually in the shower, I wake up when the water turns cold.

This is me three years ago when the twins were new. Although, it may have happened involuntarily. At least that’s my story.

  10. 10

I love that. I need to try that sometime.

That is so funny and true.

When the Hubby is home, I tend to sneak in a lot of naps when I can. Luckily my kids are very understanding when I am exhausted and usually just cuddle up on the couch with me and watch a movie while I sneak in a cat nap on the couch. I would so do this if I had too, without any hesitation!

This is so funny…reminds me of my childhood. I’m one of four children (I’m 25 now). We used to talk to my mom through the bathroom door all the time and she finally reached a point where she had had it! She made a rule that no one was to speak to her while she was in there, and she’d take a book or magazine and stay there for 15, 20, sometimes up to 30 min. Now that I’m a mom, I say it’s not a bad idea!!!

  14. 14

Well its one room in the house that people usually won’t bother you. lol

    Viv Sluys says:

A few times I have gone into my bedroom through the bathroom and laid down in bed and then heard my kids asking my husband where I was. He said he thought I was in the bathroom…I fell asleep without correcting their assumption :D
