I’m so thrilled to have a new weekly feature on Mommy Moment. My friend Erna will be contributing weekly cake posts. Trust me, although I enjoy making special cakes for my girls, I’d never be able to make more than a few a year. I’m so happy I can share Erna’s talent with all of you.
I love making cakes of all kinds, from the simple to more elaborate time consuming ones. Sometimes they don’t need much decorating at all. I made this cake for a family get together for my niece’s birthday. Some bright colored candy that I got at the dollar store made it eye catching and very yummy to look at. Not to mention the kids could not wait to get their share of the loot. It’s a quick, easy way of making your kid’s birthday cake a little less stressful when there are a million other things to do. ~ Erna
