Healthy Banana Muffin Recipe

Whenever possible I try to make recipes as healthy as I can. Sometimes they take a bit of tweaking to get them just right.

This recipe has NO dairy, sugar, white flour, margarine or butter and it is a hit with the whole family.  {The next time I make them I may add a sprinkle of cinnamon for something different}.  I think they will be a nice snack to send along in school lunches since it is also nut free.

Love it – going to try them tomorrow. Might even add a little wild rice flour.

That is a great idea. I do not have any more wild rice flour or I would have used some for sure! If your kids are used to sweets you may want to add a bit more honey or some chocolate chips. We all love them this way, but we are used to not eating things too sweet!

These muffins look delish! I’m always looking for the ‘best’ banana muffin recipe and I’ll definitely be trying them. My boys aren’t used to eating sweet foods all the time either, but the little chocolate drop makes them special. Thx!
