I thought the same thing – gas station coffee
I took the profile though, and learned that they have organic fair trade coffee. Fair trade is important to me, so I guess I can put Van Houtte on my list sometime!
Must be a Manitoba thing that we think it is only served in Gas Stations, like I said, my views were drastically changed! And yes, LOVE that they have fair trade coffee!

I worked in a coffee bar in Nfld and we served Van Houtte. It has never been gas station coffee to me.
That said, I followed this trip on Twitter and wow- Old Montreal and wicked peeps and coffee!

The only place I had seen Van Houtte coffee before going to Montreal was at our Co-op Gas station. I have to say good job to co-op for selling such great coffee because it really is amazing! You are right, all the bloggers were pretty wicked

Thanks Lucille! I’m not famous, but I am enjoying using the gifts I was blessed with. Meeting so many wonderful women from across the country and letting them know how special they are gives me a joy that I only dreamed of as a child. Experiencing beautiful places like this trip to Old Montreal is another thing I never thought would become a reality, but it did and it will be a memory I’ll never ever forget.
