Make Lunch time Easier with Momables #Giveaway

I hate making lunches.  I always have.  From the time I took lunches to school till present day lunch time has always been a struggle for me (ask my husband — he will tell you ALL about it).  I never have ideas on what to make for lunch for me or the kids and get tired of the same thing over and over again.  I think I literally took the same lunch to school every day for my whole elementary school days.  And nowadays it is easier to send packaged and processed foods or grab things on-the-run which is anything but healthy.

There is now a site called MOMables™ to help with those troublesome lunch time struggles!

MOMables™ is dedicated to parents’ need and desire to provide our children with healthy, fresh, convenient, delicious, kid-friendly food.

MOMables™ is focused on feeding children uncomplicated yet good food. The kid-tested recipes are easy to follow even for stiletto wearing MOMmies who might need a road-map around the kitchen and for dads who could live on cereal and pizza.  Whether you have one child or half a soccer team, each lunch takes less than 10 minutes to prepare, uses fresh ingredients, and most can be done ahead of time to alleviate some of the morning rush.  MOMables™ goal is to save you time (who couldn’t use more time) and money on wasted food!

So how does it work?

Each Friday a new weekly menu plan and a shopping list will be available to paid subscribers.  You log in,  print it, shop, and prepare! It’s THAT easy.

All of the recipes have photos of the homemade lunch showing you what the meal will look like and since I need a visual I love this feature!

Most of the recipes you can make ahead of time saving some of those precious morning moments where you are running around in circles trying to get everyone out the door on time.  In almost all recipes, you’ll be able to swap ingredients to accommodate for food allergies or that ultra-picky eater.

So what about summer holidays you ask?  They’ve got that figured out too.  Normal lunch menus run from August 15th to June 30th, so between July 1st and August 14th they have a special family menu which consists of 3 large family friendly meals, a snack and a dessert recipe for the whole family to enjoy.  During the busyness of summer with all the different activities, trips to the pool and kids going to camp dinnertime is when parents need help.  These great summertime recipes provide leftovers which make quick lunches for the next day.

MOMables™ has 3 different subscription plans — 3 months for $18, 6 months for $33 and 12 months for $60.  A 12 month subscription is only $5 a month!  What a small amount to pay for great lunch ideas to keep everyone happy.

The sample recipes on the site look great (I am definitely using some of those!) and I am looking forward to trying out all the great recipes that they will be sending my way!

COMPANY MOMENT:

MOMables™ was created by Laura Fuentes a mom who was growing tired of her kids asking for processed packaged items claiming to be nutritious.  So she set out to make food that looked like what their friends were eating yet it was made fresh in her own kitchen.  She recognized that busy parents could use a simple method to create their kid’s lunch and feel good about what they are eating… and the idea of MOMables™ was born.
