It’s time for our Wordless Wednesday post. Wordless Wednesday is posting a photo with little to no words.
This picture can speak for itself….
Notice how I am NOT in the photos….yup, there is a reason for that!!

ummm…. ‘OMG’ is all i’ve got…
LOL
Ohhhh….ummmm….interesting! LOL. I don’t think I could stomach it!! I love how they appear to be digging right in though haha. Thanks for linking up
Brandi
GREAT photos…I love the generation span! Thanks for hosting the hop, have a great week.
Brandi, I could not stomach these either!
Meryl, I love the photo of them together, even if they are eating chicken feet
Don’t think I would be either lol
Love the look on Grammy’s face heheh!
Yum? I’ve lived in several African countries, Madagascar, Mongolia … and I’ve always chosen to steer far away from chicken legs. Although I won’t go into some of the other things I’ve tried.
Not something I would like to eat, but it is honestly my 6 year olds FAVORITE food. My grandma says they are really healthy, I guess I have to take her word on that since I will not be trying them!
Eek! We were just talking about chicken paws at Easter, since my dad works at Perdue. No one in my family has ever tried them. 0.o
I have no desire to try them either!
Eiuw. Next time I get some I know who to give it to
Yup, the girls would love them. Me on the other hand, NO WAY!
Eewww! But to each their own I guess lol.
Yeah, I have had to get used to watching them eat them….not something I would ever want to try!
Bwa ha ha! Too funny! My husband got some of these at a Chinese restaurant once by accident. We’re not fans…
Well, I am NOT a fan either….I have never tried them and I have no desire to change that LOL!
I MAYBE would give it a shot.
You are more brave than me!
Oh man. One of my worst memories of having a Chinese best friend in the middle school years was the time I went to ChinaTown with her family and watched her Dad eat Chicken Feet. I don’t think I’ve ever wanted to throw up so much in my life! And I didn’t even taste it! haha.
Haha, I probably would have felt the same way if I were in your shoes….I am slowly getting used to seeing it now.
OMG…are those really chicken feet????????????
Yup, they really are!
I would have skipped that meal too! Happy WW!
Haha LOL…Thanks for the comment!
I think I would try it once, do you eat the whole thing or is it like a chicken wing and you still leave the bones?
You do not eat the whole thing, you kind of suck the meaty type stuff off of the bones. Can’t really describe as I have never tried it myself!
I’ve never had chicken feet and would normally think “Ew” but they actually look pretty tasty!
They are cooked along with the whole roasted chicken, so I imagine the flavor may be similar.
That gives chicken fingers a whole new meaning. I guess we have become too affluent to enjoy some of the less popular parts fo animals. Maybe some day they will be considered gourmet and expensive. I used to eat a lot of chicken wings when I was a kid because they were cheap, now they are the most expensive part. Ribs were given away as dog food.
It sure does give a different meaning. I know they are very popular in other counties.
I trying to find the words for this one…lol
I don’t blame you!
What the cluck! Chicken feet?
Haha, that about says it all!
Good Lord! Well I never…
Yeah, you and a lot of others
wow, really?? your girls are pretty brave, my kids will barely eat rice
Yeah, my grandma started them on chicken feet as soon as they were old enough to know not to eat the bones…
I have no words!!
I think you along with many others feel that way
Eewwwwwwww! I got chills..and not in a good way. Bhahhha. At least the family is bonding.
Happy WW!
I still get a funny feeling when I watch them eat, I just can’t bring myself to try it.
When you think where those feet have been and what they may have been scratching in especially if they have been factory farmed, Tell Granny, things have changed unless she raised them with non GMO feed, probably not organic/healthy anymore.
They are actually not from the factory, but anyway, they are boiled and there is a thick callous that you take off of the whole foot and you take the claws out so it is completely clean. I still can not get myself to eat them though!
“I still can not get myself to eat them though!”
That’s not a bad thing
Um, EW! Goose has eaten those. We used to raise chickens. Big fat No Can Do over here!
This has left me wordless.
Although my mind is screaming GROSS!
My mind should be more open, right?
Good for them for trying them and finding out they like it!!! I’m very proud of my 2 girls and that they try and like things many kids their age won’t look twice at. Their fav food right now is sushi and artichokes…in fact that’s what my 3 year old has requested for her 4th birthday
To each his/her own. Different strokes for different folks.
Blech…..I just got a shiver
LOL, sorry! I still get them
I’m not sure I could be so brave!
You and me both!
I’ve never seen chicken feet like that before, lol! A great picture that makes a great post.
Thanks Dave, I’m glad my girls love them, not sure I could stomach them though!
Ew, ew, ew, EW!!!
But I am so glad that they have that special “thing” with their great-grandma
Haha….we think alike! I did have to take a photo though. I can’t wait to see if my girls still love them 10 years from now. It will make for great conversations anyway!
What a brave little girl!!
Yup, the girls are more brave than me!
All I can say is EEK!
Sorry for the scare
Ewww! LOL! I’ve never tried chicken feet…and I never will! Just something about eating feet…
LOL, I’m with you on that! Not only does my 6 year old eat them….they are her absolute FAVORITE food
My son loves chicken feet too. Have a great WW!
My entry.
Ha ha! Not had those since I was in China – they dished chicken paws up for breakfast in Shanghai
I wouldn’t do chicken feet either. Ok so I am a vegetarian and don’t do chicken but it looks like your daughters are enjoying it and I know that in Asia they do eat it a LOT so it must taste good.
Oh my goodness!
I’m part Chinese and even I cannot eat chicken feet! Brave girls!
Funny story: When hubby and I were still dating, my Dad took the family to Chinese Dim Sum and told hubs that if he wanted to be part of our family, he had to eat chicken feet! Hubby did it, but after, Dad told him it was just a joke! LOL! It wasn’t a test after all!
Funny or cruel joke, I’m not sure LOL. I just can’t get myself to try them!
I have tried, but just do not like chicken feet. Kudos to your kiddos for trying them!
Have you had these at dim sum?
So good. I love that you got a child to eat them! She will grow up to be open minded, I’m sure of it.
Thats awesome that they tried them – I couldn’t do it!
no way i could eat those!
brave I guess is a good word for those partaking
yuckers… that is all I can say.
Hilarious! I’ve never had chicken feet but I had a similar experience eating pickled pigs feet with my cousin and Granddaddy
Oh boy, I don’t think I could eat those!
