It’s time for our Wordless Wednesday post. Wordless Wednesday is posting a photo with little to no words.

This picture can speak for itself….

Notice how I am NOT in the photos….yup, there is a reason for that!!

Comments

  1. ummm…. ‘OMG’ is all i’ve got…

  2. Ohhhh….ummmm….interesting! LOL. I don’t think I could stomach it!! I love how they appear to be digging right in though haha. Thanks for linking up :)

    Brandi

  3. Don’t think I would be either lol

Love the look on Grammy’s face heheh!

  4. Yum? I’ve lived in several African countries, Madagascar, Mongolia … and I’ve always chosen to steer far away from chicken legs. Although I won’t go into some of the other things I’ve tried.

    • Not something I would like to eat, but it is honestly my 6 year olds FAVORITE food. My grandma says they are really healthy, I guess I have to take her word on that since I will not be trying them!

  5. Eek! We were just talking about chicken paws at Easter, since my dad works at Perdue. No one in my family has ever tried them. 0.o

  6. Eiuw. Next time I get some I know who to give it to :P

  7. Eewww! But to each their own I guess lol.

  8. Bwa ha ha! Too funny! My husband got some of these at a Chinese restaurant once by accident. We’re not fans…

  9. I MAYBE would give it a shot.

  10. Oh man. One of my worst memories of having a Chinese best friend in the middle school years was the time I went to ChinaTown with her family and watched her Dad eat Chicken Feet. I don’t think I’ve ever wanted to throw up so much in my life! And I didn’t even taste it! haha.

  11. OMG…are those really chicken feet????????????

  12. I would have skipped that meal too! Happy WW!

  13. I think I would try it once, do you eat the whole thing or is it like a chicken wing and you still leave the bones?

  14. I’ve never had chicken feet and would normally think “Ew” but they actually look pretty tasty!

  15. That gives chicken fingers a whole new meaning. I guess we have become too affluent to enjoy some of the less popular parts fo animals. Maybe some day they will be considered gourmet and expensive. I used to eat a lot of chicken wings when I was a kid because they were cheap, now they are the most expensive part. Ribs were given away as dog food.

  16. Crystal C says:

I trying to find the words for this one…lol

  17. What the cluck! Chicken feet?

  18. Good Lord! Well I never…

  19. wow, really?? your girls are pretty brave, my kids will barely eat rice

  20. I have no words!! :)

  21. Eewwwwwwww! I got chills..and not in a good way. Bhahhha. At least the family is bonding. :)
    Happy WW!

  22. When you think where those feet have been and what they may have been scratching in especially if they have been factory farmed, Tell Granny, things have changed unless she raised them with non GMO feed, probably not organic/healthy anymore.

  23. Um, EW! Goose has eaten those. We used to raise chickens. Big fat No Can Do over here!

  24. This has left me wordless.
Although my mind is screaming GROSS!
My mind should be more open, right?

  25. Kim Dougherty says:

Good for them for trying them and finding out they like it!!! I’m very proud of my 2 girls and that they try and like things many kids their age won’t look twice at. Their fav food right now is sushi and artichokes…in fact that’s what my 3 year old has requested for her 4th birthday :)

  26. To each his/her own. Different strokes for different folks.

  27. Blech…..I just got a shiver

  28. I’m not sure I could be so brave!

  29. I’ve never seen chicken feet like that before, lol! A great picture that makes a great post.

  30. Ew, ew, ew, EW!!!
But I am so glad that they have that special “thing” with their great-grandma :)

  31. What a brave little girl!!

  32. All I can say is EEK!

  33. Ewww! LOL! I’ve never tried chicken feet…and I never will! Just something about eating feet…

  34. My son loves chicken feet too. Have a great WW!

    My entry.

  35. Ha ha! Not had those since I was in China – they dished chicken paws up for breakfast in Shanghai :)

  36. I wouldn’t do chicken feet either. Ok so I am a vegetarian and don’t do chicken but it looks like your daughters are enjoying it and I know that in Asia they do eat it a LOT so it must taste good.

  37. Oh my goodness! :-) I’m part Chinese and even I cannot eat chicken feet! Brave girls! :-) Funny story: When hubby and I were still dating, my Dad took the family to Chinese Dim Sum and told hubs that if he wanted to be part of our family, he had to eat chicken feet! Hubby did it, but after, Dad told him it was just a joke! LOL! It wasn’t a test after all!

  38. I have tried, but just do not like chicken feet. Kudos to your kiddos for trying them!

  39. Have you had these at dim sum? :) So good. I love that you got a child to eat them! She will grow up to be open minded, I’m sure of it.

  40. Thats awesome that they tried them – I couldn’t do it!

  41. no way i could eat those!
brave I guess is a good word for those partaking

  42. yuckers… that is all I can say.

  43. Hilarious! I’ve never had chicken feet but I had a similar experience eating pickled pigs feet with my cousin and Granddaddy ;)

  44. Oh boy, I don’t think I could eat those!
