Yes, it’s a Birdcage Cake!
I had wanted to make a birdcage cake for a long time and finally dove headfirst into it. I was happy with how it turned out and just love the two little lovebirds in the front. It also fits in very well with any spring or summer get togethers. I made this one while my parents were out for a visit and they got to watch me do my craft first hand. I think they now understand why bakeries charge so much….it’s not just flour and eggs, it’s a centerpiece (that hopefully tastes really good)!

Awesome cake. It’s beautiful.
This cake is stunning. You did such a wonderful job. This would be perfect for a shower.
I love your cake. You do beautiful work.
wow, that is fantastic! Well done!
WOW! This cake turned out amazing! I’m totally impressed! I had birdcages on each of the tables at my wedding reception that I decorated myself (each one was different), but I would much rather have had one of these cakes on each of those tables. You are a cake magician!
