Cheesy Stampeden Ranch Burger {Hidden Valley Ranch #Recipe}

Today was my daughters last day of school, which in our home signals the official start of summer.  And it is not a summer without a BBQ.

Since we were selected to take part in the Hidden  Valley  Ranch™  Recipe  Challenge we thought a great way to celebrate the start of summer would be to make a new family recipe that we could share with all of you.

Hidden Valley Ranch has always been the Ranch dressing of choice in our home, so we were thrilled to see they had come out with some new flavors including Spicy and Cheesy. We knew we just had to try one of these fantastic new dressing dressings in our family recipe.

Introducing Hidden Valley Ranch and their new Spicy Ranch featured in The Arsenault’s Cheesy Stampeden Ranch Burger.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound extra lean ground beef (Manitoba Beef was our choice)
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 2 Tbsp Hidden Valley Original Ranch Spicy Ranch Dressing
  • 1 ½ Tbsp BBQ sauce of choice
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • ½ tsp salt

Take all the listed ingredients and mix very well in a large bowl.  Prepare into desired sized patties and grill.

  • Marble Cheddar Cheese (optional)

When almost done cooking on grill lay a cheese slice over patty and let cheese melt.

Congratulations, you now have the perfect burger to dress as you so desire.  Having burgers is also a great way to get some extra veggies in your diet.  For our burger we included:

  • Red onion
  • Red leaf lettuce
  • Romaine lettuce
  • Tomatoes
  • 1 tsp Original Hidden Valley Ranch
  • Grilled crustini bun

Yield: 8 Large Burgers

Also as an added bonus we made a homemade Hummus to go with our burgers.  To make this Spicy Garlic Ranch Hummus take the following ingredients:

  • 1 Can of chickpeas
  • 1 Tbsp Hidden Valley Original Ranch Spicy Ranch Dressing
  • 2 ½ Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp garlic

Take the can of Chickpea’s, drain and rinse.  Chop into a paste in a blender.  Once a pasty texture has been achieved add the Hidden Valley Spicy Ranch Dressing, lemon juice, salt and garlic.  Blend together again and refrigerate.  Once cool, enjoy with your favorite dipping chip.

Summers are meant to be enjoyed outside.  Take these summer time recipes and enjoy with your family and neighbors.

So tell me, have you tried the new Hidden Valley Ranch flavors?
