Hard to believe it’s June. A new month means it’s time for a new Guidecraft Educator Review and Giveaway!
Like any child, their vision of themselves is to be the great helper. They want to assist or do everything they can to be just like the big people in their life. Even when it comes to cleanup, dishes are a great way for children to learn life skills that will take them far, even as young people. Guildcraft is introducing the High Rise Step-Up to assist children with tasks at the kitchen counter level.
The High Rise Step-Up is a simple 2 step platform that raises children a foot and a half off the ground to a counter level where they can work along with the care provider and help them to learn new skills. The two step system along with tall sides with handles allows for the children to reach for assistance and help maintain balance while climbing and working. The High Rise Step-Up steps also have sand paper like grips to allow for sturdy foot placement to prevent them from slipping.
Like all Guidecraft products, the High Rise Step-Up comes disassembled, but is very easy to put together and is very sturdy. The Birch plywood construction adds to its sturdy design and form that makes it safe for all children who need assistance reaching those tools to help. And with the ability to hold up to 125 lbs. it gives the caregiver piece of mind while working with the child beside them.
Our experience while using the High Rise Step-Up has proven to give the little ones more confidence in working with their hands.
The High Rise Step-up has been a hit in our home to assist in learning and teaching life skills to children. This is a such a functional learning tool that is getting a good workout, it is one of my absolute FAVORITE products to own!
