I don’t know about you, but my preschooler is a grazer. She does not like to sit and eat a whole meal at a time.
I have decided to have choices ready for her so when she asks to eat, she can have one of the snacks that I “approve” of. (I do not claim to be the healthiest mom in the world, but I try to give a good selection).
Here is what what made for today.
Jane took out the plate whenever she was hungry. She nibbled and enjoyed and was a happy girl.
And I’m a happy mom!
Check out some of our Lovable Lunches that my older daughter Kate takes to school.

Yum. I find that when it is things like that my kids eat more. Lots of little bits of healthy foods and they eat it all.

Oh Marina, I wish I could take credit for the recipe, but I never could make one that everyone really enjoyed. The one we all like now is called 9 grain salad with Quinoa by Summer Fresh. We buy it at Costco. And Kiwi is so much easier to prepare using a cookie cutter. Just slice the kiwi (with peel on) and use a small cookie cutter to cut out the slices. No more yucky fingers!
