My daughters LOVE Maplelea Girls. My daughters, Kate (7) and Jane (4) play with their Maplelea dolls Saila and Taryn for hours every day!
Maplelea Girls are dolls made to represent girls from six different regions of Canada : the Rockies, the prairies, urban Ontario, the Maritimes, Quebec and northern Canada.
The newest line of Maplelea girls are called Maplelea friends. Girls can choose their doll from 12 different dolls and they can make their own story for their doll.
Our daughters take their Maplelea Girls with them everywhere. They really have become a part of our family!
Now that it is getting cold outside, the girls love sitting by the fireplace with their dolls.
They love reading the journals that came with their dolls. I love how much my girls are learning about Canada by reading Saila and Taryn’s journals.
To really let you know how much my girls love their Maplelea girls, I’ll let you in on a little secret. My husband and I have decided to purchase all our daughters Christmas presents from Maplelea this year.
Maplelea has many wonderful products/accessories to go along with the Maplelea Girls and Maplelea friends. They have the cutest outfits for the dolls and they even have some clothing so the children can matchy-match with their dolls…How fun is that?!?

My Maddie has a hard time deciding. She was born in SK, but lives now in NS so she is torn! We’ll say Brianne for now
My 9-yr old daughter loves her Taryn and I know she would love to have Boulder, her dog and a new outfit for Taryn. With all the talk of America Girls I’m surprised not more people are aware of our wonderful Canadian dolls.
All these dolls are so beautiful..very hard to choose a favourite..my daughter would love to have Leonie,with xmas just around the corner..what a great gift!!

My daughter has the Taryn Maplelea Doll too, and she loves her! So much, in fact, she really wants another doll. The ‘friends doll’ that is used in the example above is the one that most matches my daughter.

I love these dolls – they bring back many happy childhood memories. I’d love for my niece to have Taryn to enjoy this Christmas. I love the thought of going back to the simplicity of a doll as a gift, rather than the thousands of electronic gadgets that are advertised everywhere.
