Exclusive Sofia the First: Once Upon A Princess Premiere #DisneyJuniorMom

For a few weeks now, my kids have seen the previews for the Sofia the First: Once Upon A Princess premiere which will be airing on Disney Junior on Saturday, November 24 at 7pm EST.

Sofia the First

Sofia’s royal adventure begins as she prepares to move into the castle after her mom marries the King of Enchancia – Roland II.  This new move brings 2 step-siblings – Amber and James.  Now Sofia must learn what it means to be a proper princess.  Sofia soon discovers that looking like a princess isn’t all that difficult.

FLORA, SOFIA, MERRYWEATHER, FAUNA

With the help of 3 (rather famous fairies) and a visit from one VERY special princess, Sofia learns displaying honesty, loyalty, courage, compassion, independence and grace is what makes one truly royal!  (What GREAT lessons for us ALL to learn!)

Sofia and Cinderella

There are some special people that voice the characters in this Disney Junior special (as well as the Sofia the First series which is set to air on Disney Junior in 2013).  Ariel Winter, (of Modern Family) voices Sofia; Sara Ramirez (of Grey’s Anatomy) as Queen Miranda; Wayne Brady (of Let’s Make A Deal) as Clover; and Tim Gunn (of Project Runway) as Baileywick.  Definitely star power in this series!!

In celebration of this new series, Disney Junior is launching the Sofia The First Book Contest!  Be sure to watch the premiere carefully because Disney Junior will be asking a specific question.  You will need to have the correct answer to this question for your chance to win 1 of 150 Sofia The First Book Prize Packs!  You can visit http://www.disneyjunior.ca/en/contests for more information.

So remember to set your PVR’s and settle in with some popcorn and watch this 44 minute special presentation to find out how things go for Sophia as a princess.
