Yesterday evening our family went to Sport Chek to check out their golf section. My husband is ready for golf season even though the ground is still covered in snow.

Sport Chek is a new store in our mall. We recently purchased our daughters skates at Sport Chek and had a great shopping experience there so we were all looking forward to going back. It is pretty common for my family to go shopping on Friday evenings. I like to go to the mall and then go grocery shopping so that I do not have to worry about getting everything done on Saturdays.
When we arrived at Sport Chek we noticed that they were having a sale (I love when I hit an unexpected sale). There were “Great Deals” signs and “Massive Clearance Sale” signs thought the store. I always love finding good deals. I also love taking my time while shopping so my girls are used to being in stores and keeping themselves occupied. The girls enjoyed looking at the bikes and trying out weights. My husband even had fun showing our 7 year old daughter Kate some golfing tips while we were there.
Living in a small city it is pretty common to run into people we know. We saw some friends of our shopping so we stopped to visit with them for a bit. They were shopping for shin guards. After they left my husband decided to try on some golf shorts.
Trevor decided to purchase a pair of Mike Weir golf shorts.. He loved the quality, the brand and that he has a golf shirt that matches it perfectly. I liked the shorts too, especially after noticing that they were on sale for half price. Trevor said he liked that the store offered a good variety of brands such as Nike, Under Armour, Callaway and Oakley to name a few.
For our location and smaller size of our store, my husband and I both were impressed with the attire selection for the whole family at Sport Chek. I like that I can stay in our small city and find the quality and brands I like at competitive prices.
Take a look at my Google+ album of our shopping trip. Do you go shopping as a family too?
