Simple Smoothie

In the afternoons I sometimes crave something sweet. One of my new favorite “treats” is a simple smoothie. This one only uses a few ingredients and is absolutely delicious!

SIMPLE SMOOTHIE

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup fresh pineapple juice (I use a juicer, but you could use bought juice)
  • 1 small ripe/overripe banana
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp hemp hearts

Blend together (I use a magic bullet) and enjoy.

  1. That is pretty simple!

  2. Sounds (and looks!) yummy!

  3. Not a huge banana fan, but it does sound good!

    • My 7 year old does not like bananas at all, so I used only half the amount of banana and added pineapple chunks instead of just the juice and she actually drank it. I suppose you could leave the banana out all together and maybe add ice :)
