5 Tips for Parents On-The-Go
#1. Pack extra clothes ~ and NOT just for the kids. ~ Being out-and-about with the kids often means stopping for meals or a quick sanity smoothie break for Mom. Whether your little one spills your smoothie all over themselves or they manage to have a major diaper blow-out, extra clothes are a must. Remember to pack an extra shirt for you too! All too often, I was the one who needed a change!
#2. Pack extra snacks ~ Often times, errands or shopping manages to take a littler longer than we had planned. Long lines or bumping into an old friend, can cause delays in your little one’s routine, including snack/lunch time. Packing extra snacks helps keep their tummies full and allows you a little leeway with time.
#3. Have a lightweight stroller that can stand the test of time. ~ Kids love the independence that comes with getting older. They love to walk on their own (while staying close to mom of course) but their little legs do not hold up for long. Its perfect since it not only has one of the largest weight capacities I have seen from a stroller. As well as being able to fold it unlike some of the expensive ones with are in two pieces.

I love how high the weight rating is because sometimes when out and about my middle decides she no longer can walk and tries to steal the stroller from my toddler. It would be nice to know that when the littlest is running my middle can rest her legs and not break the stroller -esecially since she sometimes climbs on the stroller while her brother is still in it

My stroller is on it’s last legs..the only thing holding it together is duct tape so this stroller would definitely help me get out more with my son especially in the winter when the sidewalks are covered with snow.

I love how this stroller is a great all around stroller that can last a long time. We take public transportation a lot so I like that although it is bigger and more rugged than an umbrella stroller it is still lightweight and easy to fold.

Actually, in my case, I’m a grandmother and I don’t have a stroller for when the grandchildren visit. This would be an immense help for when I want to take them with me walking. What I love about this stroller is the weight allowance. My 4 kids are all close together, but all walking and independent but when we go on a BIG family adventure’s they all like a little break from walking and with weights from 30 lbs to 55 lbs this is a struggle to find a stroller that still pushes the bigger kids. I love the BIG storage, because 4 kids come with a lot of baggage.

Everything about it would be great! I walk our oldest to and from school every day with our 3 year old in tow so a good stroller is a must. We’re also car-less throughout the day so any where we go is on foot. The extra large canopy is perfect not only to keep the sun out of little eyes but to keep the rain and snow off too. The basket underneath is a great to carry a backpack to and from school and to carry anything we pick up at the library or store. The suspension would be most welcomed by the 3 year old who is constantly bounced around on bumpy, ice covered sidewalks. Can’t forget the 5-point harness to hold the 3 year old in place when he decides a tantrum would be a really fun thing to have at the most inopportune time.

We walk pretty much everywhere we go since we live in a fairly small town (big compared to Manitobian small towns but small for my area!) and the dog we pet-sat chewed up my current, 5 yr old, gone through a few kids stroller. I love BOB strollers! This would really help out with our on-the-go lifestyle! My oldest son plays or practices hockey almost every day of the week so it would be much easier with my toddler around the rinks; my daughter dances so more auditorium walkabouts and hubby works across the country so we have 2 airport trips each month! Living on a farm in SE Saskatchewan where winter won’t seem to leave it would be great to be able to get around easily with my two ill girls, in snow, mud or gravel! Nothing can beat getting outside and getting fresh air for all of us!
