Anyone that knows me knows that I LIVE for lists. I have, at any given time, at least 3 lists on-going. There is usually my grocery list, to-do list and one other list — be it an extensive cleaning list, or list of clothes that the kids are outgrowing.
My husband, family and friends often tease me about having a list for everything. And they are probably right — I DO!
I find that keeping lists and menu planning helps keep my day balanced and not so hairy.
Glow Baby provides user-friendly tools that help make scheduling and list making for today’s busy lifestyle a breeze!
All of the Glow Baby products are about helping busy parents, like yourself, save time and reduce day-to-day stresses. The Glow Baby products help parents with daily activities like:
- feeding
- sleeping
- diapering
- bathing
- first foods
- meal planning
- family activities
- general to do lists
- groceries
- and more!
I mentioned menu planning helping keep the stress out of the day.
I have been menu planning for almost 2 years now and it has been a life saver!
Every Thursday, I sit down with the flyers that come in the mail, my pad of paper (although now I can use Glow Baby’s shopping list) and my calendar (which will now be replaced by Glow Baby’s Menu Planner). I go through the flyers noting all the items that are on sale that I need to stock up on. Then I take a look at our week and decide what we will have for supper on what days. Menu planning has helped out a lot in our family. Now come 5:00, I no longer stand like a deer in the headlights in the middle of my kitchen and wonder “What’s for dinner? What ingredients do we have?”. By planning out our meals, I know I will have the ingredients on hand and take the guess work out of “What’s for dinner?”.
Products from Glow Baby also make the perfect gift for that new parent.
There are Baby’s First Journals that make documenting all those incredible firsts easy and fun to look through later on.
You can also buy gift baskets for expectant parents, with journals and lists to help get them started at home:

I don’t menu plan but if I won this I would definitely start to
I don’t menu plan but really should- it is much more cost effective! i do keep a planner otherwise I would forgot what I am supposed to do. I also do have ongoing grocery lists, to do lists and blog post lists.
i would love to meal plan but our life is so fly by the seat of our pants that we cant….so while we try to pick a few meals for the week, its unlikely we will even eat at home every day (mom and dad live next door
Sometimes, I will make a menu plan for mon to fridays and just wing it on sat… and alway s plan sunday
I’ve never menu planned but I want to learn how best to do so!
I don’t yet, but definitely plan to start!
I don’t write a menu plan down, but have a very good idea of what each days meals will be. Our menus are based upon what is on sale in the flyers or what I have in the freezer & pantry.
I haven’t yet, but I plan to start.
I usually menu plan for the week. I look at the flyers and figure out what I need to buy for the week. I always make shopping lists.

not much menu planning here
I use a day book and record all activities.
I do once in a while but would really like to make a habit of it
I am a list fanatic too!!! I meal plan sometimes, especially when I know I’ll be busy. I usually only plan for a week at a time because any longer and I’ll inevitably re-do it. I find that not only does it help me save money and stay organized, I eat MUCH healthier too because I’ve taken the time to plan what I need and how long it will take… the big benefit though is that on days I have more time, because I know what I’ll be making in the coming days, I can pre-prepare aspects of the meals like baking up some chicken for pitas or salad later in the week, pre washing and chopping veggies for cooking and snacking and finding meals that have common ingredients or can dodouble duty (as meal one day, and part of a different meal later in the week – like grilled or baked chicken).
I love glow baby’s menu planner – I use it every week. I plan out each week and buy groceries based on my menu plan. I started doing this about a year ago and cooking is a breeze now!
A week in advance!
Every time I try and set out a meal plan the hubby eats an ingredient meant for the next nights meal. Example: I take out chicken to make honey glazed chicken thighs in the crockpot, he’ll come home from work see the chicken and cook himself a stir fry LOL. I really plan on focusing on it though. I’m really interested in once a month freezer cooking so perhaps my plans won’t be foiled if I cook and/or prep it all in a day
not well, lol. but i really need to with a new baby and hubs working long rotating shiftwork!
I do but it doesn’t always work.
I try but I am too unorganized to make a menu plan. I would start weekly and see where that leads to.
