OPI’s San Francisco Collection

The San Francisco Collection by OPI is a collection of 15 nail lacquers in varying colours, ranging from gorgeous blues and deep reds to shades of greys and browns.

San Francisco Collection by OPI

I had the privilege to test out six of these colours, including the 3 *NEW* liquid sand polishes found in this set.

These 3 new liquid sand polishes come in the following colors:

  • It’s All San Andreas’s Fault – textured earthy taupe
  • Wharf! Wharf! Wharf! – textured matte blue
  • Alcatraz…Rocks – textured gray

San Francisco Nails

The thing that surprises me most about OPI’s liquid sand polishes is that unlike most sparkly or uneven finished polishes they are not actually that difficult to take off with nail polish remover.  When you are ready for a fresh coat of paint on your nails you won’t waste time removing these polishes.

The other twelve colours in the OPI San Fransisco Collection are:

  • Dining al Frisco – a fresh-air blue
  • Haven’t the Foggiest – a misty grey
  • Peace & Love & OPI – a holographic sage and eggplant
  • A-Piers to Be Tan – a chocolatey tan
  • Keeping Suzi at Bay – an assertive navy blue
  • Incognito in Sausalito – an almost-black blue
  • Lost on Lombard – a garnet red
  • I Knead Sour-Dough – toasty warm brown
  • Muir Muir on the Wall – a plum
  • In the Cable Car-Pool Lane – a burgundy
  • Embarca-Dare Ya! – a magenta
  • First Date at the Golden Gate – ruby shimmer

OPI San Fran Collection

The polishes that I got to test out, applied great as any OPI polish and dried nicely.  These colours look great on their own or in a design, on your toes or your fingers.  San Francisco by OPI will be available August 7, 2013, at Professional Salons and Spas for $10.95.

These new OPI colours are perfect for fall 2013!

Which colors would you love to see on your nails?

This review was done by Megan is a 15 year old student, in grade 9. Her passion for nail art started at around age 11 but she never got into doing designs until this last summer when she and her family moved to Steinbach. Megan loves trying new designs out on her nails and sharing them with the people around her. She would love to pursue a nail career after grade 12 and enjoys having her own private ‘salon’ (Meg’s Nails) in her basement while still in school.

I love all these colors, especially the blues. I think Wharf! Wharf! Wharf! is my favorite.
