First Day Of School Lunch, Pictures & More

Today was my daughters first day back to school. Miss Kate is entering third grade and Jane could not be happier to be entering kindergarten.

Yes, these are pictures of their school lunch. I love making Lovable Lunches and yes, they may be Pinterest perfect, BUT don’t let that fool you. My house looks like a bomb went through it, and it is 11 am and I have not even showered yet. (Have I mentioned that I have no kids at home? Yeah – so I should have no excuses).

Want to know what is in their lunchboxes? This food is for morning break, lunch and afternoon break.

Here is what is in each school lunch:

• Celery with sunflower seed butter & raisins
• Sea Salt Rice Crisps & cheese for one lunch and Organic Seed crackers and cheese for the other
• Homemade Nut-Free Bar
• Coleslaw
• Cherry tomatoes
• Organic green grapes
• Corn tortilla with mashed pinto beans & medium cheddar cheese
• Hummus (because my girls love to dip)
