October 11th is International Day of the Girl.
PersonaGirl works in partnership with the Canadian Women’s Foundation. At the beginning of the year they hosted a “Bead Design Contest” together in which young girls had the chance to design a new bead. The winning design was selected and manufactured. The winning bead design (shows two hands holding a heart with the words saying I AM. The purpose is to show girls to love and embrace who they are).
The bead will be sold for $20.00 and $5.00 will be donated to the Canadian Women’s Foundation Girl’s Fund. The Girls Fund supports important programs to help girls to stay safe, improve their mental health, challenge stereotypes, and successfully navigate adolescence. The beads will be sold exclusively on www.personaworld.com on Oct 11th *while quantities last*.
Persona is a collection of interchangeable beads and charms that can be worn on bracelets, earrings and necklaces. PersonaGirl is Persona’s sister brand. PersonaGirl is a fun and fashionable collection of petite beads and charms, offering the same exceptional quality as Persona but for a younger consumer.
Our daughter Kate loves her PersonaGirl bracelet. She started out with 2 charms and 2 beads and has since received more at her birthday last month. She already has more picked out for her Christmas wish list. Jane, our youngest daughter just got started on her own PersonaGirl bracelet now and I love that the brand aligns itself with such a great cause. The first charm Jane chose was the “Best Friends” charm, so that she could give half to her sister. It made me smile.
