OPI has released eight new polishes for their annual soft shades collection in conjunction with the new release of The Muppets Most Wanted. They have some gorgeous colours including:
Muppets World Tour ~ This white quartz with colorful sparkle is a global sensation.
Miss Piggy’s Big Number ~ Stand back… Miss Piggy’s on sapphire!
I Love Applause ~ This sheer, sweet pink deserves a standing ovation.
Let’s Do Anything We Want! ~ There’s no holding back this rose gold glitter with white confetti.
Kermit Me to Speak ~ Listen up… I’ve got lots to say about this rosy mauve.
Gaining Mole-mentum ~ Make your beauty mark with this shredded gold and chunky pink glitter.
Int’l Crime Caper ~ To miss this opalescent pearl would be the crime of the century.
Chillin’ Like a Villain ~ My evil plan… to get away with this precious, sheer nude.
I enjoyed trying a few out on my nails. Int’l Crime Caper is a thin shimmery white that has a soft look to it. I used three coats to get the look in the picture but you can try it with a different colour underneath and see how that turns out.
Miss Piggy’s Big Number is the nail polish that stands out in this the collection the most for me. It is a metallic-y blue that really does remind me of Miss Piggy.
Out of this collection though, I liked Kermit Me to speak the most. It is also a metallic like polish that shows a slightly different colour from each angle you look at it. I added Kermit to my ring finger because this is his nail polish after all. Gaining Mole-mentum is a shredded glitter witch is different than any glitter I’ve tried before. If you want a unique glitter, this is the one for you.
In the end I think OPI has more exciting colours out there but there are a few polishes I would pick for my own nails.
