Bring the Beach INSIDE with Sands Alive!

Summer is often associated with the beach and building sand castles beside the water (similar to this beautiful Sand Castle Cake Erna made).  But with our weekends here in Southern Manitoba being kind of cold and rainy, getting to the beach to play in the sand has been difficult.  With Sands Alive! your kids can create with sand INSIDE your house!

Sands Alive

Have you heard of Sands Alive! before?

If not, you are missing out!  Sands Alive! is an indoor play sand that is 100% natural, nontoxic, does not stain or stick and is super easy to clean up.  The best part is, is that Sands Alive! only contains sand and a few other natural ingredients.

These natural, non toxic and organic ingredients create a compound agent that binds together to create an environment in which it is not physically possible for bacteria to grow!  Other great features include:

  • Will Never Dry Out
  • Non Toxic
  • Bacteria Free
  • Soft To The Touch
  • Educational
  • Easy to Mold
  • Will Hold it Shape

Sands Alive

This week, my kids spent some time creating with the Sands Alive! sand, large sand tray and 16 sand tools.  Their only complaint was that play time was cut short because of lunch time (apparently 1 hour isn’t long enough time to play!)

Sands Alive

When I asked my kids what their favorite part was of playing with Sands Alive!, their response was that “You can build ANYTHING”.  My favorite part of Sands Alive! is the texture.  It’s not sticky like other molding clays or doughs and is SUPER easy to clean up.  The large sand tray helps contain the sand, so you can literally play with it anywhere.
