Gwen Stefani OPI – Christmas 2014

The Christmas line – Gwen Stefani OPI – has a multitude of polishes and today I have pictures of seven of them. (I will show you the glitters in a later post) The whole set includes twelve polishes, six glitter top coats, and one 18k gold polish to wrap it up. So that’s 19 polishes!

Christmas Nails 2014 2

In this first picture, I used Just Be-Clause along with a gold OPI polish from another set. I have been dying to try this polish and simply love it on my nails!! This is by far my favourite! It is a pinky-red and I love the spin it takes on traditional holiday reds. To make the flower in the corner, I just used a dotting tool and a black thin tip to create the look.

In the design with the French tips, I used I Carol About You, Love is Hot and Coal, and Kiss me – or Elf! These polishes all have a slight shimmer to them and apply nicely on nails. I’m really not a fan of shimmery nail polishes, but I actually really like I Carol About You and might be visiting it again soon…

This last design, with the poinsettias, I used In a Holidaze and Christmas Gone Plaid, along with Don’t Speak Pure 18k Gold as a top coat. In a Holidaze has a bit of a jelly-er feel to it and shows up a bit thinner on the nails. Three coats will be needed to get good coverage but it worked really nicely for this design. Christmas Gone Plaid is a deep Christmas tree green that is a must have for the Christmas season. I will be using this is many of my holiday nails this year!  Don’t Speak was the perfect finish for this look and gave it that festive feel.

Pointsetta Nails

Phew! Ok, I think I got through all seven of the polishes I promised I would.

Will any of these be on your next shopping list?
