Spring Flower Nail Art

Spring is finally starting to appear around here and I’ve pulled my pastels and bright summery colours out of hibernation to celebrate! The look I’m sharing today is fairly basic and very spring like. I only used three colours for this design and I’m sure any beginner could pull this look off.

Spring Flower Nail Art

I first painted all my nails green expect for my ring finger. An easy way to make a simple design look a little bit cooler than it really is is by reversing the colours of the design on one finger. I did this on my ringer finger by using the pink as the base and the green as a part of the flower. I then used white to make the shape of the flower on the nails. I did two flowers on each nail, but you can do whatever you fancy.

Taking the other colour (either the green or pink) I painted the insides of the white outlines. Lastly I added some dots to complete the look. It’s that simple. A friend of mine saw these nails on me today and said they reminded her of an ‘under the sea’ idea. It never would have occurred to me but now that she said it that’s all I can think about when I look at them. So whether you want a sea inspired nail design or a nice spring flower nail design, give this one a shot. It’s really easy!
