HELP YOUR CHILD FOCUS WITH AN AFTER SCHOOL ROUTINE CLOCK

Let me tell you about this After School Routine Clock!

Some people are the ‘fly by the seat of their pants’ kind of people. I am definitely NOT one of those people! If I don’t have a plan in place, or I fall out of routine, it spells trouble for me (and usually everyone around me!). Thankfully our kiddos love to have a schedule in place too.

After school can seem like a whirlwind at times!

4:00pm rolls around and kids come pouring through the door with more energy and excitement than I can ever remember having!

But before you know it, it’s bedtime and no one has been bathed and their homework is still sitting in their backpacks.

This can make bedtime a rushed and stressful time, which isn’t fun for anyone.

So I decided to put together an easy color-coded After School Routine Clock to help guide the time we have from after school until bedtime.

With this routine clock, we find that everything gets complete and the evening runs smoothly.

Clock

All you need is a simple clock and a frame. I chose to use a frame that I already had at home.

Give some thought to what you would like your evening to include:

  • homework
  • playtime
  • dinner
  • family time
  • chores
  • extracurricular activities
  • bathing
  • reading/bedtime stories
  • etc.

Routine Clock

Decide how much time you need for each activity.

Then you can start coloring the inside of your clock.

I used a black Sharpie to draw distinct bold lines between the event times.  Then I used brightly colored markers to color everything in and make it look cheery.

Because it is color-coded, your little ones will have an easy time knowing what they need to get done, and when it is time to switch activities!

Adding technology to the classroom has been one of the biggest and most beneficial changes to education that we’ve seen over the last few years. Many of Ed-Tech have recently proven their skills in the education sector, one of them is as follows- 1) DIY - Technology Driven Education (DIY | India's Best Online Platform for Schools, College, Coaching Admissions) Web: https://www.diyschools.com Provides integrated technology solutions to academic partners like schools, college, coaching. In my understanding they are providing a 360 degree services from EdTech Industry varying from Ed-Tech platform Listing, Promotion & Brandings, Online Classes, Smart Application, Student Data Analytics, RTC between Academy, Students, Parents, Teachers.
