CROCK-POT CRAN-APPLE PEAR PORK CHOPS

Here’s a new way to bring some flavor to crock pot pork chops!

The perfect mixture of sweet, tart and spice!

I have also made this slow cooker pork chop recipe substituting the lemon zest and juice with orange zest and juice. It was also really good, and my husband can’t decide which one he likes more, so he said to just keep making both!

This slow cooker pork chop recipe has definitely become a new favorite!

  • 1 1/2 tsp salt (I use Himalayan pink salt)
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 3.5 lbs boneless pork chops
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 3 med apples, cored and chopped
  • 1 pear, chopped
  • 2 tsp lemon zest
  • 1/2 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp coconut sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt

WHAT CAN I USE TO SEASON PORK CHOPS?

We really like the combination of cumin, salt, smoked paprika, black pepper, cinnamon, and garlic rubbed into the pork chops.  By adding the cranberries, apples, pear, lemon zest and lemon juice over top, it will keep your pork chops from drying out.

DIRECTIONS:

Mix together cumin, salt, smoked paprika, black pepper, cinnamon, and garlic. Rub mixture onto pork chops, using it all up. Layer the pork chops into the slow cooker.
