Outdoor Practical Life

I love this time of year! The children love to get outside after a long cold winter. They have been watching our rhubarb plant grow (checking it daily) and could hardly wait until “picking” day.

The children each got to pull the rhubarb out and practice using the terms:

Part of the rhubarb “work” was the baking a Rhubarb Crisp together – eating it was definitely the highlight!

Snow White was so excited that we got to put the garden in this weekend. She was already praying in winter for God to melt the snow so she could plant carrots LOL.

She worked very hard:

We sure had a wonderful weekend outdoors! I love all the learning that happens outside the classroom!

I am looking for a few people who would be interesting in doing a guest post over the summer to fill in for me while we are away on holiday’s. These posts would be for Montessori, kids crafts or Family Fun.  If this is something that you would be interested in, please e-mail mommymomentblog@ gmail.com (no spaces).

Now it is time to link up!

(Please be sure to display our Mondays Montessori Moment Button in your post or sidebar!)

Please put the name of the post in the link title and link directly to that post, not your blog home!

Remember that you can vote once a day for us on Top Mommy Blogs! Because of you we are #13 Thank-you so much!
