Little One Books (CLOSED)

You all know how much my daughters and I love Little One Books from our recent review of Ferdinand (don’t you just love the video?!)
I had to feature this amazing company for our Christmas Gifts Galore Event. It means a lot to me that every item they sell has been approved by a team of professionals.

The Hat, by Jan Brett is a beautifully illustrated with warm colors and lovable animals. My 2 year old loves Hedgie the hedgehog and has asked me to read the book to her everyday since it arrived! I appreciate the underlying themes of this book which include friendship and self-esteem.

The Nutcracker, by Susan Jeffers is unlike any version I have ever read. I love that this version is very easy to read -not too wordy for young children. Don’t let that fool you into thinking you will get through the book quickly though, there is so much to see of every page – if your children are anything like mine, they will want to observe every detail!

My 5 year old is drawn to the cover of the book. Marie’s hair is covered in glitter making the texture pop out and scream to be touched. My daughter rubs her hand over the cover and says “Mommy, I like touching her hair just like you like to touch my hair”.
