As you know, hubby and I were away all weekend celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary.
It was definitely a weekend to remember!
After the kids were dropped of at grandma & grandpa’s house it was time for our weekend to begin. The drive was so quiet, no kids screaming that they had to pee! We were off to a great start!

While waiting in the lobby, we even sited David Suzuki! Off course my camera was not in hand, but it was still a neat experience!

I felt like Cinderella when I walked into our room. It was the perfect room to celebrate our special anniversary! If you are ever in the Winnipeg area, I’d suggest spending a night at Inn at the Forks, I’m sure you would love it!

Dinner at STEP’N OUT was fantastic! I can see why reservations are needed ~ I will, without a doubt, be going here again…WOW!

On Saturday, hubby and I had the 1 hour couples massage at Riverstone spa at the Forks. What a romantic and relaxing experience it was!

Our highlight on Sunday was U2 360º live in Winnipeg. We were right in the inner circle!!! It was pretty exciting to see the Snowbirds fly over head before the show started, who knew Bono controlled the government LOL ~ it was quite spectacular!

And like always, I got to meet some new people.
Erin is a single mom who works 60 hours a week, I was so happy to see that she took some “me time” for herself!
Karen, the blond beauty is from Calgary and she actually follows U2 on Tour. How cool is that…what a fun ‘extreme hobby’ ~I think there should be a reality TV show about that, I’d for one love to watch her story!!
Tim & Deanna enjoyed a night out. They have 2 little boys and will be welcoming their daughter to the outside world in about 6 weeks!
