Sensodyne has me enjoying ice water again! #giveaway (CLOSED)

Dealing with tooth sensitivities isn’t fun.  The simple enjoyment of drinking ice cold water on a hot summer day has proven to be quite painful for me the past few years. I had to start drinking ice water with a straw because the ice cold against my teeth was unbearable. Can you relate? I have never been sensitive to hot, but cold gets me every time!

Did you notice I said WAS…that’s right. I started using SENSODYNE toothpaste just over a week ago and I’m amazed that I already notice a difference. As I am writing this post I am drinking a glass of ice water without a straw!

It doesn’t really surprise me that about 44% of adults suffer from tooth sensitivity. If fact, my tooth sensitivities have gradually gotten worse over time. It was not that one day I did not have tooth sensitivity and the next day I did, it’s taken years.

Back to the Sensodyne.

SENSODYNE is The #1 Recommended brand for sensitive teeth by Dental Professionals and it also won Reader’s Digest Most Trusted Brand for 2011.

I have to admit that I am pretty picky when it comes to toothpaste. I have stuck with the same toothpaste for years because even the smell of other toothpastes (that my husband uses) turn me off. For the actual taste in my mouth I’d have to say that the Fresh Mint was my favorite. I can see myself using this as my everyday toothpaste, especially since my teeth are not nearly as sensitive! Using Sensodyne does not mean you have to give up the things you expect from a toothpaste. Not only is Sensodyne clinically proven to give sensitivity relief, it also does the things you would expect from a toothpaste…

  • Fights tartar*
  • Prevents cavities
  • Removes plaque with brushing
  • Helps keep gums clean while brushing
  • Freshens breath

(*with regular brushing)

The packaging of the Sensodyne iso-active had me intrigued.

I mean, look at it, doesn’t it look fun. Ok, maybe it’s just me, but the packaging made me want to try it.

I tried the Sensodyne whitening iso-active foaming gel. Let me tell you, my experience with the taste of whitening toothpastes has never been pleasant, so I was gearing up for the worst. It was actually good. the foaming action felt like it was working on my teeth and although I liked the Fresh Mint better, this was good and fun to use. I could definitely see myself using this if I was looking for a whitening toothpaste!
