She’s Six (A KITKAT BIRTHDAY CAKE)

My girl is 6 years old and she couldn’t be happier with her KITKAT birthday cake.

It’s hard to believe that my first born is six years old. She is a kindhearted little girl who cares so much for the people around her. She celebrated her birthday with a few school friends this past weekend. I always find it amusing that she loves to select her birthday cake, but never eats it. She is not a dessert lover like her mama, and her choice of beverage is always water.

I baked a chocolate cake, I put icing on the cake and the sides of the cake, I stuck on KitKat bars (bought at the dollar store) and then put candies on the cake and wrapped it with a beautiful red ribbon. Such an easy DIY birthday cake, and it turned out absolutely perfect for the birthday girl.
