The Tyson Method boot camp 4 moms {my journey/before pics}

It’s been one week since I started on this new journey. As many of you already know, I believe that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes. Beauty shines from the inside out. Chances are, if I have met you in real life, I have told you that YOU are BEAUTIFUL.

Many of you also know that I do not usually write about myself personally. That is going to change as of today. Today is the day I open up and let you in to hear about a new journey I am taking.

This new journey that I’ve started is not about a scale or losing inches for outward beauty, but rather to be a healthier woman.

I’ve joined the Tyson Method boot camp 4 moms.

The Tyson Method is a culmination of Core-training, Aerobics, Toning, Kickboxing and numerous other methods – all compiled in a format unlike anything you’ve done before.

boot camp for momsThere are so many things that set the Tyson Method boot camp 4 moms apart from anything else like it. First of all, I can bring my girls. They can play right close which I love. The second thing I love about the Tyson Method boot camp 4 moms is the amazing support. Tami and her husband facilitate the classes together. They are so encouraging and every class Tami reminds us that this is our own personal journey. She knows that we are all women, and as women, we often compare ourselves to others. She constantly reminds us that this is a place to encourage one another and build each other up. The Tyson Method boot camp for moms is more than just a boot camp, it is a community, supportive of each other and the challenges of Motherhood. It is a place where you can workout in a non-threatening environment AND achieve amazing results.

The class is made up of beginners to advanced all in one. I really like this. Even though I could not do one sit-up on my first day and barely managed 3 push-ups, she still celebrated that with me. It has to be one of the most uplifting classes I’ve ever been to. Did I mention that they are also hard? Oh my, these classes have pushed me harder than I ever though possible, but after only one week I’m feeling great (on the inside). My muscles ache and I never knew that walking up or down the stairs in my house could hurt so bad, but I’m truly laughing through the pain because I know it is making me a stronger and healthier woman.

I plan to keep you, my readers, in the loop as I continue this 6 week journey. I want you to all know that you are absolutely beautiful the way you are, and no matter how much weight you lose, you will never be more beautiful than you are today. Until you can accept that beauty comes from within, you will never feel gorgeous on the outside.

Here is a picture of the beautiful me as of a few weeks before I started the Tyson method. I hope you will follow my journey and stay tuned for the after picture as well. My hair is not done, I have no make-up on at all and people may wonder why I would put these pictures up for everyone to see, the reason…because I’m real. I’m a mom, I have struggled with my weight for many years, but I still know without a doubt that I am a beautiful woman. A beautiful woman on my journey to be a healthier woman.

So without further ado, meet the beautiful me…

Beautiful MeThe Tyson method offers boot camps in Los Angeles, British Columbia and Manitoba, and if  you can’t make it to a live boot camp, they offer classes online! These 20 minute videos are set to some of the hottest music, and refreshed daily so you don’t get bored.

So I hope you will follow my journey, the journey to a healthier me. I encourage you to check out the Tyson Method or their boot camp 4 moms site to find out more. You can also follow @thetysonmethod on Twitter.

Do you have any specific questions for me? I want to be real and open, so now is the time to ask.

Have you struggled with weight issues?

Do you know you are absolutely beautiful?

I hope that sharing my journey will be an encouragement to you.

Way to go!!! I wish you all the best with this. I have a lot of weight to lose and seeing someone so motivated helps me to stay that way, too. It's hard when I have so many (seemingly) valid excuses to not exercise or eat right. LOL I'm cheering you along too and can't wait to see your progress.
