This is where it all began about 3 years ago, when I took my first Wilton cake decorating coarse. It was a chance for me to get out of the house and do something for myself once a week. It was definetly a jumping off point, where I learned to love cake decorating. I learned a lot of the basics in the course and from there I hounded online tutorials, forums, blogs and youtube videos finding whatever information I could on decorating cakes.
Today’s post is a special one! It goes right back to the beginning. It is one of the cakes I made in the very beginning of my cake decorating experience. I have learned so much since then and still there is so much to learn! I’m loving every step of the way!

Erna is a happily married stay-at-home mom to three beautiful children. She fell in love with cake decorating after taking some local cake decorating courses. She is a hobby baker and decorates cakes for her family and friends. Erna continues to do what she loves by working a few hours at a local bakery (P.S. Cake Designs).
