Favorite Minute Maid smoothie recipe

The days are getting longer and warmer.  I am waiting with great anticipation for May long weekend. My long weekend will involve some fun in the sun laying on the hammock sipping a sweet summer drink.

Bliss, pure bliss!

Lucky for us, Minute Maid wants to help both you and I enjoy the long weekend with some tasty recipes to get the weekend off on the right foot. With drinks for the kids, or the adults only, there is a recipe everyone in the family can enjoy!

Our little family just sampled a hint of what is possible for a great drink to enjoy this great long weekend.  The Peachy Keen Smoothie is a great way to beat the heat and enjoy a great fruit beverage that the whole family will love.

The Peachy Keen Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Minute Maid® Peach Punch frozen concentrate, thawed (undiluted)
  • 1 cup Minute Maid® Chilled Peach Real Fruit Beverage
  • ½ cup Minute Maid® Chilled Original Orange Juice
  • 1 cup Ice cubes
  • ½ cup Vanilla yogurt

Directions:

In blender, purée together peach punch frozen concentrate, peach real fruit beverage, orange juice, ice cubes and vanilla yogurt,  Don’t have a blender? Skip the ice. Use Minute Maid® Peach Punch frozen concentrate unthawed.

This is a great drink to enjoy that has a great fruit flavoring, yet has a delicate creaminess that pulls it all together.  Our girls who love fruit simply gulped this down and begged for more.  A sure hit in our home.

If this is not for you or you want to modify this recipe, you have options.  If you don’t like your juices sweet, be generous with your water when mixing your Minute Maid frozen juice or punch.  Also don’t be scared to mix it up with some of the many different flavors that Minute Maid has.  If peach is not your cup of tea, there are other juices or punches available.  Or add some fresh fruit to compliment what is already there. So don’t forget to stock up on your favorite Minute Maid frozen juices or punches.  They store well and can be pulled out at a moment’s notice.  And don’t forget to share your drinks with a good friend or neighbor…and be sure to share your recipes with them too!
