VeggieTales ~ The Penniless Princess #giveaway {US only}

Remember the book A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett which was later turned into a movie starring Shirley Temple?  VeggieTales newest DVD – The Penniless Princess – is an adaptation from those great classics.

Sweet Sarah Crew has everything a little girl could want – a loving family, lots of friends and a closet full of frilly dresses! But when life takes a turn and Sarah goes from riches to rags, will she realize that her true worth lies not in what she has, but what she has in her heart? Find out in this inspiring new story from VeggieTales that reminds kids who they are in God’s eyes.

I loved the classic A Little Princess and was excited to hear that VeggieTales made an adaptation of it.

The DVD is a great reminder about knowing your own true worth and trusting God, no matter what happens in life.  Couldn’t we ALL use that reminder?  I loved the lessons in the story and my kids absolutely loved the movie and that the main character Sara embraced everyone as equal.

VeggieTales also has great devotionals for kids.  You can check out their 365 Day Starter Devos for Girls (& Boys!)  The Daystarter devos for girls help parents begin every morning with the wit of VeggieTales and wisdom from the Word of God!  It Includes 365 daily thoughts, a prayer, and a verse for kids to start their day out right!
