Boost Your Brain Power! ~ Chicken Soup for the Soul #giveaway {3 Winners}

Whether “baby-brain” is a real condition or just a mom-made-up one to help deal with all the craziness that accompanies having children, I know that my brain is not as strong as it used to be.  While I was in school or working, my brain was used every second to figure out problems, write papers, or while dealing with customers.  Being home with my kids has not granted the same amount of brain work (definitely work but different!)

Even in the last couple of months I have felt that my memory has been slipping a bit.  Do you know what I read in the Chicken Soup for the Soul book ~ Boost Your Brain Power!?  Here it is:

The good news is that by challenging your memory, no matter what its current condition, you can make improvements.

Isn’t that great news?

You can improve your memory, reduce your risk factors for Alzheimer’s disease, stay sharp in your senior years and enhance your mental abilities at any age!

Read how other people like you have boosted their brain power, improved their memory and cognitive thinking, and have even come back from traumatic brain injuries in these fascinating and revealing personal stories.  Combine these with Dr. Pasinski’s pratical tips and clear medical explanations and you will learn how to improve your memory, trigger creative thinking, reduce stress and improve sleep, maximize your mental faculties and MORE!

These stories and great tips from Dr. Pasinski, of Harvard Medical School, help you realize that everyone has brain power and that practice makes better!

My husband and I enjoy playing games on-line and on a video game console that put us against each other to figure out different brain-teasers the fastest.  While I mostly never win, I enjoy the feeling when I realize that something has “clicked” and I can finish a puzzle more quickly than the last time.
