Little Pim Makes Learning Languages Fun!

Living in a country like Canada we are heavily exposed to the cultural melting pot that is Canada.  We can experience all sorts of cultures and languages daily without trying too hard.  Trying to work and communicate with people who’s first language is not ours, is not always easy.  However there are options, and some that are geared specifically for children.

Say hello to Little Pim, the adorable little panda bear that will help you and your child learn new languages.

Little Pim

Little Pim is a learning tool that uses literature and videos to teach your child the building blocks and basics of a new language.  In our home, our daughter is attending a French school and we are still trying to master the language.  We have have been watching these videos together and I can see how the simple language used and the way the literature is presented makes this an easy sell for children.

The videos start with Little Pim helping children with the language and becomes the guide for children as they learn.  The animated panda bear helps children stay focused and learn what is being presented.  There are also other animated animal helpers that assist in teaching children.

The phrases and words presented in the videos are simple and easy for children to learn.  The videos do progress in difficulty, however, this is a great way to get started in learning a new language.

With 12 languages to pick from, there are many options for your child to learn.  Choose from:

  • Spanish
  • French
  • Chinese (Mandarin)
  • Italian
  • German
  • Japanese
  • Arabic
  • Hebrew
  • Russian
  • English ESL
  • English ENG
  • Portuguese

We are being exposed to more and more cultures as we progress in this country.  Why not get to know more about them and make them feel more at home by learning their language.  Not only will people feel more at home, but your child will learn more and be more ready for who every they meet.
