Giving Back with Fisher Price This Christmas Season #FisherPriceMoms

As we start winding down the year of toys and opportunities from Fisher Price, I think there is lots we have to be thankful for.  After all, this is the the time of year for reflection and thinking of others.  And there was sooo much this year to reflect upon from Fisher Price.

When looking back at our Fisher Price posts, there were many discussions around Earth Day, road trips and summer fun activities.  And while these are all great, it gave all our readers a chance to reflect on not just toys, but the importance of those who play with them and what they mean to us as parents.  We love our children and like all parents, we want the best for the next generation.

Fisher Price Castle

As for toys in review, we have everything from a princess castle, cool functional cameras, to doodle bears.

However, after a full reflection of the year’s cool products, the one that constantly gets a raving review in our home is the Servin Surprise Kitchen.  Maybe because this kitchen appeals to children of a variety of ages, or because of the simple use of the kitchen, children can feel like they are part of the action, just like mommy cooking supper.
We have many friends with children of various ages, and this toy is a constant hit in our home.  With being able to entertain multiple children at a time, this would highly be a recommended toy for the Christmas season.

Fisher Price Servin' Surprises Kitchen and Table

Now for the giving part of the Christmas season.  We have selected 2 toys to share with our community.  The first toy that will be shared is the  “Go Baby Go Poppity Pop Musical Dino“.  This will be going to the Steinbach Community Outreach.  This program, through the Steinbach Mennonite Church, helps families and individuals who are in need.  We have seen first hand the need in our community and the way they have helped people get a leg up when they need it most.  If it’s a place to stay, clothing or a meal, Irene and her crew are always willing to help out.

Instead of keeping the second toy from Fisher-Price, we decided as a family to donate it as well. The “Laugh And Learn Fun With Friends Musical Table” will be donated to our church nursery.  There are many moms with little ones in our church and this “Laugh And Learn Fun With Friends Musical Table” will be a great asset as many of the toys currently in the nursery are rather “vintage”. 😉

What are you planning on doing this Christmas season to bless others?

December 11-we love Fisher-Price toys because they are colorful and well-made. You are teaching your children about sharing when you donate some toys to worthy causes. i do baking at Christmas and share it. I also remember all members of our extended family, especially step-grandchildren who may tend to feel 'left out.'-I knit Barbie's clothes and slippers for a lot of my family to keep their feet warm and cozy and I try to make sure my widowed brother has a Christmas dinner. el03ro

That is a beautiful thing you are doing... My little ones are 2, 3, and 5... so this year I have taken each of the kids to buy something for each other and something small for a child in need. I want this year to be a year the kids learn about GIVING to others and to each other :)
