Kernels Popcorn Virtual Charity Gift Cards #Giveaway {arv $50}

So it’s that time of year again where we all start to think about giving, giving and more giving.  As much as I would like the latest tech gadget or another pair of shoes, there is something I would like more than that. I would like to know that my gift was also helping others who need something more than I do.  Kernels, the delicious makers of all things popcorn, got it right this holiday season ensuring that its customers have the option to give to others in a special way.

Kernels Charity Cards

Kernels has started the Christmas season by offering a new program called their Virtual Charity Gift Cards on their website.  The program is simple.  Purchase a charity gift card and Kernels will donate 10% of the card value to the charity of your choice (there are 8 participating charities with more coming!).

So, let’s recap…  If you get a $30 virtual gift card for your great uncle Fred from BC, who loves Kernels Popcorn (like everyone on this planet), the charity you choose, i.e. Make A Wish foundation of Canada, will get a $3.00 donation.  Also if your cousin Cindy from down the street, who also loves Kernels Popcorn (like everyone else in our family) would get a $50 virtual gift card to Kernels Popcorn, the charity you choose, i.e. Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, will get a $5.00 donation because you bought a virtual gift card.  How cool is that?!?  In all, there are currently 8 well known charities that Kernels is working with to help do more good over the Christmas season.

Simply go to the Kernels Popcorn website and follow the prompts to place your order. You can also send a message to your recipient letting them know their gift has also been a gift to someone else.

This is a great program that does two wonderful things, helps a charity and lets someone enjoy some great Kernels Popcorn.  Enjoy everyone!

Fundraising events is a good idea when trying to raise dollars to increase your organization's finances or to help out with a cause. You might like to locate an event that won't cost you much cash like setting up a popcorn fundraising event for your group.
