Day 2 at the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration #DisneySMMoms

It’s 1:30 am – and my magical day has almost come to an end.

Here is the Day 2 recap…

While I was at the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration conference from 8-5 My hubby kept our girls at the resort and had fun in the pool with them. The resort had pool side entertainment all afternoon which apparently my girls LOVED.

It was a good conference –  I met some new blogging friends, I was determined to sit with people I had never met before – it was such a great idea, since new friends are always good to have.

Hanes sponsored a “comfort breakfast” – I enjoyed eggs and fresh fruit which was absolutely amazing. Hanes also made the flower pieces on the takes out of socks and underwear – you’ve got to admit it looks amazing.

I got to meet some pretty cool “celebrities” too!! Take a look at the photos below. I think my MU student card is pretty fun! (Isn’t my outfit great…Pennigtons is my clothing sponsor for the event.

Disney characters

Of course there was a great line up of speakers – I think Marc Mero had at least half the people in the room crying from his unbelievable speech and Rene Syler had us all laughing numerous times as welll.

Rayovac even had a charging station in the middle of each table. It sure came in handy.

I could go on and on about the conference itself, but I wanted to sneak in even more info from my evening tonight.

Tonight we got to go to a Red Carpet Social. We got to have meet-and-greets with our girls and some of their favorite characters and we got to eat a variety of foods – the green beans were fantastic.

We got back to the hotel shortly before 10pm and decided to quickly walk on over to the Magic Kingdom. The timing could not have been more perfect. We saw fireworks just as we walked in, then we went on 3 rides and finished just in time to see the light-up parade. On our way out we stopped at a shop to pick up some princess costumes for our girls for tomorrow.

So that is a tiny glimpse into my magical day. It was perfect…now I just need to get some zzz’s.

See Day 1 and the Surprise posts.

Disclosure: Special thanks to Walt Disney World Resorts Social Media for inviting me to register for the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration (#DisneySMMoms). As part of my own paid registration, I received for myself and my family 3 nights of hotel accommodations, 7 day park tickets, attendance at special events, and select branded merchandise. Opinions are my own.
