Learning about the Weather with Green Kid Crafts

The May Green Kid Crafts box is all about the weather.  The kids had a great time learning about wind and clouds.

One of the crafts was to make your own Weather Station.

Jane had a great time coloring and creating our very own weather station.

Making a weather station

We can use our weather station to talk and learn about the weather by daily checking outside and updating our weather station.

Another craft we did was learning about the different clouds.

With 9 different types of clouds, the kids will have fun spotting the correct ones.  The point is to “capture” the cloud in the frame and try to determine, by the pictures, which clouds are gracing the sky.

Another type of weather we learned about is wind.

By making these wind socks, the girls (and I) can tell how windy it is outside.

This box looks like so much fun. I remember learning about weather when I was little and I loved it.
