Barbie is back in a NEW movie reprising her role as Mariposa in Barbie Mariposa and the Fairy Princess!
Barbie™ Mariposa and her furry friend Zee are back in a new movie full of magic! In this whimsical adventure, Mariposa becomes the Royal Ambassador of Flutterfield and is sent to bring peace between her fairy land and their rivals, the Crystal Fairies of Shimmervale. While Mariposa doesn’t make a great first impression on their King, she quickly becomes friends with his shy daughter, Princess Catania. Throughout the adventure, Mariposa runs into some trouble and learns that she is no longer welcome in the fairyland. Shortly after leaving, she and Zee encounter a dark fairy who wishes to destroy Shimmervale. As Mariposa rushes back to warn the Crystal Fairies, Princess Catania offers to help and the two girls work side by side, proving that the best way to make a friend is to be a friend.
Barbie Mariposa and the Fairy Princess will be released on August 27, 2013.

We would get into our jammies (just the girls and I) and pop some extra buttery popcorn, get all the snacks out and maybe even make loaded potato skins. Then we would watch the movie and in between, have a makeup/hair party :)
